Leroy's Labyrinth

In the first cave, Cocoa faced the frothing slime monsters. He pushed through, scurrying down the back of a mouthless snake. A collapsing tunnel led to a great, churning cavern. Acid pooled in that dark pit, burning off every extremity.

Yet Cocoa pressed on, fighting through a circular door that snapped shut behind. His greatest challenge awaited: a labyrinth of coiled corridors and folded passageways. Tentacles snared him, reaching from every wall, clinging like a snake to a rat.

Then a shiver went down his molecular spine—the terminal hole!—and Cocoa let himself be absorbed by Leroy’s small intestine.
